I’m around 5'5 ft tall and weigh 66kg. On my free time, I like to stay active through basic workouts. My usual routine includes 3 sets of 20 sit-ups, 3 sets of 10 push-ups, 2 sets of squats, and 1 set of a 3-minute step with a plank. It’s not too intense, but it helps me stay fit and feel better. Aside from working out, I enjoy playing sports. My main sport is badminton, which I’ve been playing for a while now. I also play basketball, and recently, I started trying out volleyball. Being active helps me stay energized and manage stress.

Back in senior high school, I was often told that I looked intimidating or hard to approach. I guess I have that kind of resting face that makes people think I’m always serious. But honestly, once people get to know me, they see that I’m actually friendly and easy to be with. I like joking around and keeping things light—it’s just that I’m not always the first to make a move when meeting new people.

Back in junior high school, I had a close group of friends called Team Pogi. We messed around a lot, but even then, we knew how to prioritize the important things. We always thought about our studies and reminded each other of our goals. We’re still in touch, and whenever we get the chance, we hang out like old times.

In senior high school, I built another meaningful circle of friends. We went through a lot together—projects, challenges, and late-night calls. I still spend time with them. Now in college, I’ve made a new circle of friends who help make this new chapter easier and more fun. At the same time, I value my other classmates in BSIT 1-5. We’re still getting to know each other, but I can already tell these people will play a big part in my journey.

Me, my friend Jerwin, and my sister are members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). All of us are active choir members in our local congregation in Gen. T. De Leon. I truly value my faith, and being part of the choir helps me stay connected to it. Singing during worship services is something I take seriously because it’s my way of offering something to God. It also gives me peace and a sense of purpose. My faith plays a big role in how I handle problems and stay grounded, especially during hard times.

I mainly use Facebook and Instagram as my social apps, but when it comes to my online presence, I tend to present myself a bit differently. I usually hide my true feelings and personality, keeping things light and positive, even if that’s not always how I feel. I enjoy scrolling through memes, checking updates from my friends, and sharing things I find interesting. However, I try to be mindful of what I post and who sees it, which makes my digital self more filtered compared to who I am in real life. As you can see in the image provided, I rarely post online. The things I do share are mainly achievements or just re-shared posts. Online, I enjoy scrolling through memes, checking updates from my friends, and sharing things I find interesting. But I also try to be careful about what I post and who sees it. In a way, my digital self is more filtered than who I am in real life.

To be honest, I don’t really know what my future self will be. I’m still figuring things out, and I know that life doesn’t always go the way we plan. But what I do know is that I want to grow into someone better. I want to keep improving, keep learning, and keep pushing forward no matter what challenges come my way.

More than just work, I hope I stay close to the people I care about. I want to still be connected to my family and friends, still enjoying the little things like playing games, watching anime, and joking around. I also want to build my own family someday—one that’s as supportive and loving as the one I grew up with. I may not know the full picture of who I’ll become, but I’ll try my best to be someone that my present self—and the people who supported me—can be proud of.
