GIAN
I’m Karl Gian Salaveria — a student on a journey to understand myself more deeply through reflection, storytelling, and the lens of technology.
START MY JOURNEY
Hi, I’m Karl Gian Salaveria, a 19-year-old IT student at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela. I come from a family of six and enjoy working with tech—especially programming and prototyping.
I’m into gaming, badminton, basketball, and I love OPM, anime, and manga. I still keep in touch with my high school friends, because they’re a big part of who I am today.

As I wrap up this project, I’ve come to appreciate how every part of my life connects. Like from my personal experiences and struggles, to the achievements I’ve worked hard for, and even the people who’ve stayed beside me through it all. Writing about myself made me realize that I’m not just a student or someone who likes tech and sports, but I’m someone who is constantly growing, learning, and figuring things out one step at a time.

This project pushed me to look back on who I was and who I’m becoming. I’ve made mistakes, doubted myself, and faced a lot of challenges, but I’ve also grown stronger, more confident, and more aware of what I still need to work on. It reminded me that it’s okay to have weaknesses and fears, as long as I stay open to improving and never give up.

I still don’t know exactly what the future holds, but I’ve learned that it’s not about having everything figured out right away. It’s about making progress, staying true to myself, and surrounding myself with the right people. And with that mindset, I believe I can face whatever comes next.
