WHO I AM

My passion lies in the intersection of art and technology, creating visually captivating interfaces and elevating overall user digital experiences.

I’m someone who finds comfort in both tech and hobbies that keep me active. I enjoy playing video games, badminton, and basketball, and I love programming and prototyping—especially when I get to figure things out or build something from scratch. I have a strong love for OPM, and I spend a lot of my free time watching anime or reading manga, which continue to inspire me creatively. I enjoy doing many of these things with my friends from high school, who I still keep in touch with. They’re an important part of my life and remind me of the experiences that helped shape who I am today.

MY JOURNEY
SO FAR

In my 19 years of life, I’ve been through a lot. I started out as a curious student just trying to find my way. There were many hardships along the road—personal struggles, academic pressure, and moments of self-doubt—but I did my best to push through and grow. Through it all, my family and a close friend who’s been with me since senior high were there to support me. Their presence gave me strength when I needed it most.

That dedication and support led to one of my proudest moments so far: graduating senior high school with various achievements. I finished with high honors and became part of the Top 24 of our batch. These accomplishments made me proud, but I know my journey has only just begun. College is a new chapter with bigger challenges and wider opportunities. I’m still learning, still growing, and still working toward the kind of person I want to become.

HOW I SEE
MYSELF

Through the years, I’ve gone through a lot of experiences that helped me become more confident in myself. As I learned more and my self-esteem got better, I started to see both my strengths and weaknesses clearly. I think my strengths are being observant and determined—I like figuring things out and I keep trying even when things are hard. But I also know I have many weaknesses. I tend to overthink small things, get distracted easily, and sometimes avoid doing tasks when I feel stressed. I also struggle with time management and staying organized, especially outside of school.

When it comes to academics, I believe my strength is in logical and analytical thinking. This is one reason why I chose to study Information Technology. I feel comfortable doing tasks like programming, fixing basic computer problems, and prototyping apps. But I have a hard time with subjects like English and history. I struggle to write essays, understand readings, and remember facts from the past. I also feel nervous when I have to speak in English, especially in formal situations. These are things I really want to improve because I know they’re important too.

To showcase a part of my journey and growth, I’ve included here some of my favorite projects related to IT—things I’ve worked hard on and learned a lot from.

Last semester, while learning prototyping in Human-Computer Interaction, our professor recommended trying Framer—a website similar to Figma and also by the same company. After exploring it, I noticed its strong resemblance to Figma, which I was already familiar with from previous experience creating application prototype. Because of that familiarity with Figma's UI and shortcuts, I decided to use it. It also offers useful features like seamless editing, responsive design tools, and even the ability to publish the website directly.
